Oh yes!
Today topic is about “Blogger Pages”
You are at right article
Blogger comes with a Pages option (also known as Tabs),
but it is often overlooked. Pages and Posts differ in that Posts are time stamped
and archived as articles which update frequently. Pages are static pages that
should be used for all of the content that is NOT an article and that you might
use in a navigation menu it has rather very less chances to update. Pages do
not appear on your home page or home tab when to look you blog like Posts always
show on the blog home tab. Today I am going to show you how to easily
create new Pages to your Blogger blog and get them to appear in a top menu or
you can make tab of pages.
“How to create a page in blogger.
It’s very easy to create a blog page. The First Step
is to login to your blogger and go to the blog in which you want to ad page.
Search below in the menu you will see a button of Pages like
this.
Now click on the pages option when you click it a screen will pop
up. In the left corner you see four options
·
New page
·
Publish
·
Revert to draft
·
Delete
These four option are helpful for creating the new blog page.
Now Click on New page option an editable screen will open.
On which you can write you content and then you can publish it. Remaining
options are similar to the blog post option. Put you page tags in search
options and if you want to change comment setting then click on option button.
Now write your content in the page writing option window then click
on the save for saving as draft. But if you want to publish click on the button
“Publish” it will go to public.
Very Good
Do you want to use you page url as menu bar. No Problem See Below!
Here is solution
How to create a menu
bar with your Page links
1. Go to the Layout page
(in main menu) in the Blogger dashboard.
2. Under the Header
element (on layout) in the gadget arrangement, click Add a Gadget as
shown in the image below.
3. Drop down and Search
Page Gadget and then Choose the Pages gadget and add it.
4. It will give you
a lot of options of what pages you would like to put in your menu. Place a
check-mark (for pages) next to the ones you want to appear. You can always edit
this later.
5. (Optional)
If you want to add external links (external pages link) to your menu, you can
also do that in here. External links are those that you have a URL for, such as
a Facebook, YouTube, Instagram URL or a link off of your blog. Click the +Add
External Link option and a box will pop up asking for the Page Title (i.e.
“Facebook” or whatever you want the title to be in your menu) as well as the
URL. Click Save Link when done.
6. Save your
gadget!
That’s all there is
to it. Blogger allows each blog to have 20 additional pages. You should always
link to Pages for static content as opposed to individual posts. Your
individual post must be dynamic.
